technical Artist Jörg Hüttemann aka jayAge

born 1958 , with older brother and Sister, who were until the beginnings Beatles Fans. They gave me to study Revolver, Sgt.Pepper and the white Album . Later my sister put Spooky Tooth (Ceremony with Pierre Henry) and Pink Floyd (Umma Gumma) on my turntable. As being a space freak, I was facinated by David Bowie's Space Oddity. An extravagant musical taste was progammed in my early youth. On Christmas '71 I've got an tapedeck, and that´s been the start of homerecording!  The key experience in these days has been a TV-special: Roxy Music 20 minutes live. Classical recorded with a warehouse mike in front of the TV-set. The most facinating guy of this show has been the featherdressed  Brian Eno (treating tapes and the EMS). Since then, it must be 1972, I´ve got the fever, so as a teenie.. It was hard, to  maintain my musical idol against the Sweet-Slade-T Rex taste  of my gang.     After one year listening to my recordings (I´ve bought two Roxy Music LPs) Eno released an album (no pussyfooting) with my (since then) favorite guitarist Robert Fripp. This record gave me lots of questions, but as a big fan of Brian (I was at the age of 14!!!) I took all my power to understand that piece of music. With that  musical work of avantgarde (also our days), the top german WDR radiostation had problems, they called "No Pussyfooting" as the worst production of the month.   After that, I bought all records of Eno, King Crimson, Genesis/Gabriel, Bowie and Talking Heads.

Aged 16 I entered the musikscene First as singer, later as gitarist.
As the rockband Hurricane we copied Deep Purple, Sweet and T.Rex.

At home experiments with Multiplay und Soundscapes.

In the rehearsal room of the most famous local band of the 70s "Minotaurus" I've got the first touch with
the Synthesizer, the ARP AXXE..

With the Freemusic Band DRUBAX 1978 the first gig on a big Hippieparty in my garden.

Semiprofessionell entered at Autumn 1978 Irrlicht Music the local stages with bombastic rock a la Genesis, Camel or Caravan.

The guys of the band, one them the bassmann Lothar Blum awarded me (symbolic) the golden FX-knob.
The internal allusion to the big pedalboard I used to create the weired guitarsounds .

1980 the footeffects were replaced by synthesizers, Crumar DS2 und Micromoog.

After some New Wave projects (Special Service) I formed with my old friends Lothar Blum and Dieter Powalla the "neue deutsche Trinklieder" Trio

......unfortunately the band splited

I changed my Bose live equipment to a  4-track-Machine, left the Bunker-rehearsal-room and started my career at home in my ivorytower with daylight. Composing with Fricke Sequencers, analogsynthesizers , triggertracks in the early 80s.

Until 1984 the computerage started with the Yamaha MSX musiccomputer , 1987 the Atari 1040 followed with Twenty-Four and Notator.

Equipment in these days TX7, JX3P, JX8P, RX11, RX15.

Since these days lots of pretty good musicians, jammed in my FantasyLineStudio.

But I did not have the ambition to look for the big deal.

1989,starting to work for Taiyo Musik,
the german distributer for Technics Digitalkeyboards and RAMSA,
I entered the professional league.

I skipped the phase of analog multitrack MCs, and found in the early 90s my musical future in working with the harddiskrecording system Creamware TripleDAT.
 

The lots of different CDs produced as
timeless, independent music, edited from
the innumerable recording sessions with all my
musical friends are distributed by
independent stores, internet and mouth propaganda.

I am my own boss!!!
